Here is a potpourri of short mystery stories. The episodes will, at times, bring a chuckle and, at other times, tug at your heart strings. The characters act like real people who find adventure in the quirks that life brings them.

In four different venues, the amateur detectives range from twelve-year old twins to college students to a professional wrestler turned profess to a church pastor. Of course, there is murder, embezzlement, kidnapping, attacks, and forgiveness.

You'll love Kay and Emily, you'll worry about the twins, Noah will be frustrating, and love is in the air. Melinda and the Rector demonstrate true concern and compassion in the midst of serious trouble.

Enjoy!
A serial killer is on the loose with an attack every Saturday morning. A scroll is left at each crime scene with “Three Deadly Sins – No Four”, a quote from the Biblical book of Amos. There’s blunt trauma, fire, poison, and attempted drowning. Detective Paul Carter and his assistant Sgt. Mel Ouelette are unable to find any connections relating the attacks.

Meanwhile, life goes on in the Carter family with the at-large criminal always in their minds. Cousin Jake consults a psychic. Sgt. Mel finds coincidences on the web. A long list of suspects includes pastors, petty criminals, school personnel, and others with tenuous connections to the victims. To keep their sanity, the Carter family enjoys telling stories of their everyday escapades. There are separation worries brought on by divorce and by choice of college by graduating seniors.

Mary Carter and her Aunt Martha work on art projects, but they can’t get away from discussing the crimes. All-in-all, you’ll love the Carter family and wonder at the effect the crimes have on their lives.

Detective Paul and his brother Bib try making lists, but it is 8th-grader Mary who uses her word skills (she’s a great Boggle player) to help set a trap.
